팬톤이 선정한 2020년의 컬러는?

팬톤이 다가올 2020년의 색으로 클래식 블루(색상번호 19-4052)를 선정했다. 선정 이유에 대해서는 ‘시대를 초월한 청색 컬러로 심플함이 돋보이는 색’이라고 밝히면서 해 질 무렵의 하늘처럼 클래식 블루는 새로운 시대로 접어들며 안정적인 토대를 만들고자 하는 우리의 욕구를 표현한다고 설명했다.

최근 몇년 간 화려한 리빙 코랄(2019년), 울트라 바이올렛(2018년) 등을 올해의 컬러로 선정했던 팬톤은 새로운 10년을 클래식 블루로 시작하는 것. 사실 블루는 팬톤이 처음 발표한 올해의 컬러인 세룰리언 블루를 시작으로 아쿠아 스카이, 블루 아이리스, 세레니티 등 여러 차례 선정된 컬러 계열이다. 2020년은 다양한 산업 분야에서 차분한 느낌의 클래식 블루가 적용된 모습을 볼 수 있을 듯 하다.
